About DevKit

DevKit is a lightweight collection of utilities that developers reach for every day: formatting JSON, encoding data, hashing strings, generating identifiers and converting timestamps.

The project started as a personal toolbox. Instead of installing a desktop application or pasting sensitive data into an unknown web service, everything here runs as plain JavaScript inside the browser tab.

How it works

There is no application server. The page is a set of static files; the tools use standard browser APIs such as JSON, TextEncoder, crypto.subtle and Intl. That means the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.

Principles

• No accounts and no sign-up.
• No analytics, advertising or third-party scripts.
• No uploads: input stays on the device.
• Small, readable, dependency-free code.

Missing a tool? The page is intentionally small, but suggestions are always welcome. The project is maintained in spare time and grows slowly, one small utility at a time.
